I got this little device to stabilize video recording from my all-metal Huawei GX8 smartphone. I also use a machined aluminum phone clip so there is relatively little weight on top. It's all about the scales. When well balanced, it works great. Maybe not as good as the famous Steadicam brand but very good and 10 times cheaper! I was able to balance my GoPro, iPhone 6+, Canon GX-1 and Polaroid Cube+. Everyone is different of course. Love it and after looking into it reading online I realized it takes a little learning how to move and walk with it.
