There are no batteries!

Too bad you have to use this product with batteries! 4xAA or connection to an external battery. This Movo product has enough space for an internal lithium battery. For $99 it should be.

Wish it had another function

Works well enough but I wish it had a leveling/degree angle function. I use this for many night sky photos and the level function would help calculate the number of degrees above the horizon. Other than that, it seems to be working fine. Hopefully it will hold up with frequent use.

Easy to adjust, perfect for my GoPro

I am very happy with the Movo MPT-20 as it rotates the camera when shooting time lapse. The only issue that let me down was the screen disappearing and disappearing at different viewing angles. When using this I usually place it on a stand high above my head and have a hard time reading the screen from below when it's mounted above my head. I suppose it's just the nature of an old display like this, but it gets tedious to reconfigure after installation.

Better than I expected!

Overall I am very happy with this product. I actually tried to cancel the order right after I placed the order but Amazon didn't cancel it so I thought I'd try anyway. Reading other reviews I figured it would never get past "one" spin so I tried to cancel. To my surprise, there is a setting that allows all the rotations you want. Given this feature, I'm keeping it. Yes, the backlit display is pretty awful and you have to look straight at it to see it. It sucks, but this thing still works well…

A good product can become GREAT!

I really wish this product was well built and quiet. right) or (right to left) in 360° mode, which must include any (degree°) mode less than 360°. So I returned this product but look forward to ordering again when these features are added. The hardware is there, a firmware update that would add these features would be very welcome. Works perfectly! c Tripods and Monopods

Since both sizes (insert) are included in the screw mount kit on the bottom, I was able to use it to mount on a tripod. Because I wanted to control the tilt of my camera, I then bought a ball head attachment. So now I can have a perfect tilt to the sky or the ground when doing a horizontal pan. Also, it's very easy to do a quick test at the highest speed to confirm my start and end frames before starting the slow two-hour sequence.
