I was first impressed by the durable fabric and stretch/poly ratio for a snug and comfortable fit. As I approach the seams, I may need to spray them with a waterproofing spray to ensure moisture doesn't seep into my underlayers. On my first trip, I wore holes on the left and right side. The fabric is not very stiff and as you can see I wore it through the "reinforced" section. Good for mud but not suitable for rocky and difficult terrain. I've had REI Alligators in the past that didn't fit as well as these, but the REIs actually wore out on the strap, not the fabric on top, and they put great miles on Long Trail and NH Whites. I wear the new Vazee Summit v2 women's scale, size 8. I bought a small size Moxie leggings. I wore them with compression stockings. The fit is perfect, just shortened the straps. FYI, make sure you cut them in a round shape and not straight across, this makes it difficult for them to go through the second keeper.
