Happy with my new WHITE Mr. Kaffee CG12 coffee maker

Happy with my new Mr. Kaffee CG12 cup switch. Had to replace my old Mr. Coffee as we started remodeling the kitchen and I moved it to another location. When I first tried to make coffee by plugging it into a different outlet (and yes, I've tried different outlets to no avail!), it wouldn't start brewing. Slow and getting too hot!

Like everyone else, I have a morning ritual. Turn off the alarm clock, put on slippers, go to the kitchen, turn on the coffee machine, go to the office and turn on the computer, let the dog out, regulate the heating in the house, let the dog back in and wait. Brewing coffee is enough to fill a 12-ounce mug. Pour the coffee while it's still brewing, it's already brewed 4 cups, go back to the computer room to read the messages. Simplicity meets coffee

Update from 05.02.15 My grandmother's coffee machine "Mr. Coffee" died after 12 years. So I gave her mine and ordered this model in white. That's what I like most and least about the white model, which I've been using for about 3 weeks now. The first thing I noticed is that it can be harder to see where the water is in the white tank. Cheaper brands were a mistake and more expensive models were a waste of money

I've tried cheaper coffee makers. They quickly collapsed or their carafes broke and the coffee spilled. I've also had much more expensive models with all sorts of fancy features, but they had to be reprogrammed every time they were unplugged or the power went out and they didn't make the coffee any better.
