Bought to use with my FIIO BTR5 for unbalanced output to convert and use with the 3.5 input of my stereo. The 2.5 end doesn't fit properly in the DAC output and only one channel will work unless you leave it stretched a bit. Threw the cable and bought something else that works great now while listening.

The description at the time of purchase stated this cable was 6.5ft long. I always thought it was short, but I just measured it today. Its length is only 5 feet. It's 1.5 feet less. Interestingly, my Revain orders page says 5ft, but when I click the link it goes to the original description of 6.5ft. It's too short for my use and I'm looking for something else. Guilty. I should have returned as I didn't like it at all.

I've spent some time looking for a good 3.5 to 2.5 audio cable to back up the Bose originals that come with my headphones were delivered and I'm glad I found them. These cables appear to be well made, the price is right, the sound is good, they fit my headphones well and the length helps me when I need to connect something that isn't very close. So far they are working great and hopefully they will come in different lengths so I have more options and can buy more.

I ordered one of these cables to replace my Bose Soundtrue headphones (and as an add-on to my NC700) but the 2.5mm Jack is actually wide too to fit in the notch of the Soundtrue. I only had the Soundtrue 1 version, but judging by the pictures of the Soundtrue 2, it has the same notch, so it's likely you'll run into the same problem with them. some plastic around the 2.5mm end of the cable, but if you're looking for a solid cable replacement I'd suggest looking elsewhere. This cable does not fit the headphones I bought it for but it works with another set. This is fitted with a 2.5mm end that snaps into place by screwing it into the socket. The plastic sleeve was too wide for the cable to fit in the headphone jack. I contacted the seller and he sent me another cable that worked great with my headphones.
