🐖 Fatty Gut Mudguard by Mucky Nutz Review

Extended my ski season! Together with the Mud Hugger rear fender, I always stay clean even when the ride is rather muddy!

So far on my fatbike the front and bottom fenders worked fine, the rear fender fell off the seat (the rear fender I would not recommend).

Definitely not worth $15. I mounted and set it up on the rack with glue and it works great. In no case should it remain on the down tube as it is too weak on its own.

Supplied as a flat piece of plastic that needs to be bent and attached to the down tube with the included Velcro. It won't stay bent, flap in the wind, twist around the downtube and slide off no matter how tight you velcro up. Basically just a big aerodynamic brake. Not very efficient

This is a great product. I use it on the down tube on my Sondors electric bike and when I ride in the rain this fender keeps all the water out of the battery box in the frame triangle. Oh, and I have the same one :-). I also use a small front fender to finish the front wheel work, but without the front fender I was amazed to learn that in the rain this body fender probably does 90% of the job. just different than you think.
