Ideal (for me) in the kitchen and dining room

I was looking for a new butter dish. the one I had was uncomfortable and the lid was very heavy. After giving up the teapot style, I found this one. Although it is round and small, I halved the butter and both fit. This is perfect for everyday use and cuts a fine figure on the road. I am very happy with it.

Pros
  • Crockery and serving cutlery
Cons
  • Could have chosen a newer model

Perfect for half sticks LOL

Matches my other ceramic pieces perfectly and I love the whimsical nature of the ROUND butter dish. I added small pads at the bottom to avoid scratching the counters/tables. I would give 5 stars but the components are not of the best quality. The wooden handle is glued and separated from the metal on one side.

Pros
  • Catering & Entertainment
Cons
  • Legacy Model

Too small for 1 packet of butter

I used to be a potter in college. I wanted to buy a butter dish with a domed lid that had a stick of butter on it so you couldn't see the butter. It does the job of hiding the oil, but it's just not big enough to hold the entire wand without making a mess. I continue to use it, but in an ideal world this plate would be at least 1/4 inch larger in circumference. I hope this helps before you buy.

Pros
  • Household and kitchen
Cons
  • Out of fashion
