Incorrect BTU capacity

Specs said max of 160,000btu but the item that showed up is listed as 180,000btu max.Otherwise its as advertized. Thanks for attention.

Pros
  • This product is only rated for 90,000 BTU, not 160,000 btu as advertised.
Cons
  • did not work had to buy another on the road

Not working like it should

I have it hooked in line replacing the 200000 btu regulator that went bad, and it is not working like it should, I am trying different things and if I get it working then I will update the review.

Pros
  • Propane lp regulator
Cons
  • If you are using this regulator for high-pressure appliances such as grill or flame throwers, it may not be able to provide the desired amount of fuel needed to sustain the heat, resulting in a disappointing performance

Simple to install: my feedback

I've only used one of the two, but it was easy to setup and works hassle free! (I'm using it on a custom gas setup I designed)

Pros
  • Excellent product
Cons
  • The bulky design of this regulator can make it difficult to carry around for outdoor activities, such as camping trips or tailgating

it's not a 200,000 btu regulator

I had a regulator in use with the same part number (F273767) which I had purchased in 2012 from Tractor Supply. It was listed as a high-flow regulator (200,000 btu capacity) but this one I received is only specified to 140,000 btu, despite having the same part number. It's also physically smaller than my existing F273767. so, apparently Mr. Heater is just using the same part number on a variety of different regulators (bizzarre.) Anyway, in my standby generator application, flow capacity…

Pros
  • Very happy
Cons
  • Poor Durability: The low-pressure propane regulator may quickly wear out and lose its effectiveness with just a few uses due to low-quality parts and materials
