Ordered a Mushkin Enhanced Gamma to use in my game console 5. The drive arrived in plain packaging with no additional software which was not a problem as it came with the game console . The drive tray was incorrectly labeled as Gen3 x4, apparently a typographical error as the drive itself was correctly labeled as Gen4. I paired it with a third-party heatsink as Sony requires and installation was quick, with the Playstation 5 test showing 6500GB read speeds that rivaled or beat some other more…

So I opened up my iMac (2017 5K) to upgrade the SSD from 512GB to a whopping 4TB. I'm glad I did. Now the machine screams and runs well with this Mushkin Delta 4TB. I can only recommend it for occasional computer use. Not sure if I can recommend this for videos or heavy gaming as I don't. The packaging was terrible and didn't include a $600 anti-static electronics bag. Who does it?

I was so happy to get this but guess what. This is false advertising. It clearly says Gen 4. If I had wanted Gen3 I would have chosen a different brand. I'm just mad because I really needed this, but I got gen3 instead. Buyer Warning. This is Gen3, not Gen4.

This product is advertised as a PCIE Gen4 but a Gen3 drive has arrived. See photos. Returning it now would be more than worth seeing me ship it to Barbados and it will cost me even more downtime. I'm not sure if this was an isolated mix-up with my device or if it's a larger bug. Anyway, I'm very dissatisfied.
