🔒 Muteki Black Locking Lug Nut Set - 12mm x 1.5mm SR48 Open End Review

Lost keys and tried a thousand different ways to get out. I ended up destroying the key, but the locks could not be broken by any known force. If only Muteki would send me a replacement lock instead of the one I destroyed :) I had to buy key 11 from another online retailer and he was still able to remove the old, dented lock.

They look great on my black wheels, the fact that they come with 2 wrenches is a great ideal and I don't know why other manufacturers They only supply you with a wrench. My only issue, as another reviewer mentioned, is that the ends are open and I have a feeling the hub bolts are about to rust. I can quickly apply WD40 to the studs to protect them from rust.

There's not much to say about locknuts. They look like regular Muteki SR-48 nuts, which is why I bought them. They don't stand out, which is visually appealing. They are also of good quality, I hit them once (despite the fact that it was written on the box not to use a hit, but they forced me), and there were no deformations or scratches on the varnish.

These locking tabs are of a much better quality than the cheap Chinese ones typically found at auto parts stores and WalMart. Each set of 4 comes with TWO keys and the uneven locking pattern makes it difficult for a thief to use a regular set of ratchets to remove them like cheaper lock nuts can. All in all a very good product.

I purchased this lock nut kit for extra security. I bought the same color as the entire set of muteki nuts (regular) I bought previously (chrome titanium) so I also received these locknuts in the same color (chrome titanium) and for some reason the colors match not match. Conformity. These locknuts look a little more bronze than the chrome titanium nuts. So now I have a bronze nut on each wheel :/
