Gauge too small for my purposes

I bought this to hook up a horn on my truck but thought the gauge at 14 was too small for enough current so I just put them in the box with my parts stuck. I haven't used them.

Not as advertised Spare parts

The product itself is as advertised. The fuse cover was a bit difficult to close but I think it's for good weather protection. However, the fuse holder did not contain a fuse as stated in the online description. Writing to the seller did not solve the problem.

Sleep better Knowing the bilge pump is protected

I have added this to the combination manual/automatic bilge pump on my boat. The pandemic has closed the marina so my boat lift has not yet been installed. I sleep better knowing the pump is connected through a fuse and not directly to the battery.

Does its job well in my application. Well done

They did the job I expected them to do. Can't comment on the weatherproof roof or waterproofing qualities of this item as mine is fitted to my trunk, but the seal slides over the fuse nice and neat. The fuse is also held very tightly in this case, so the contact is excellent. The wire gauge is thicker than most so I went with this one. I'm doing well!

Excellent inline. Suitable for electrics

I like these. I bought two packs to use ATV straps. I like minis so they work fine. So far I've used one with a 5A fuse and the other with a 10A fuse because of the load. I haven't checked, but I doubt water gets in there. They shouldn't sink where I installed them, but they shouldn't be affected by splashes. As some reviews say, opening and closing didn't make much of a difference. My problem was how tight the fuses are; Inserting the first one was difficult, to the point where I bent the fuse

They are good for replacing the old bulky glass tube fuse holders with modern mini fuses.

Purchased for my '86 Honda TRX200SX project. The original fuse holder was completely blown, it was one of those chunky 15 amp glass tube fuses. I bought this set of 2, it comes with two fuse holders and two good quality 15 amp mini fuses. I plugged it in in place of the original fuse holder and everything worked as expected.
