Purchased. Received in very good condition. I like the LED that lights up when the coil is on. Did a quick test to see if the speed switches from one 120v power supply to another. My computer can survive without rebooting during the switch. My computer's power supply does not conform to the EPS1U standard, which requires a minimum delay time of 17 milliseconds (I don't know how long the delay actually is). I don't know how fast this rendition can play, but luckily it's fast enough to complete…

Pros
  • 1 year trial
Cons
  • Available in white only

That's really two reviews as I've had very different experiences with the 4PDT and DPDT versions. I like the LED that shows the relay is active (it's NOT bi-directional: pin 14 should be positive in the DC version as shown in the schematic on the dust cap), and the included socket and DIN rail are a nice touch gesture (they even included screws). for guided tours!). I've used them (so far) to prototype a new automatic/manual generator controller for my PV system and so far they've worked…

Pros
  • Great for a small home
Cons
  • Questionable purchase for the elderly

Good relays, no rejection, polarity sensitive LEDs

For non-critical home and automotive projects this is a good option. Absolutely no frills (well, they have an LED), no built-in recoil suppression, and the LED is polarity sensitive. Connect positive to 8 (right side) and negative to 7 (left side). Use your own recoil suppression diodes (I like 1n4007 or Mallory PTC 205 for this application). Some engineers use a capacitor, but I'm old school and prefer diodes. branded with several gibberish names, they are all the same to this day. Cheap…
