Maybe I'm doing it wrong?

The bristles do not close around the spider even after I store them with the rubber band on the ends of the bristles. I've tried this now with 3-4 spiders. I would like to return these but unfortunately didn't have a chance to use them until the return window closed. The attached video shows the product attempting to grab the spider as intended. Instead he got caught in his web and scared my daughter lol. If I wanted to catch spiders where they might fall I would just use something else and not

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Wrinkled

IT REALLY WORKS! - Sports and outdoor games

I had to write this review. My critter catcher arrived today and after opening and testing it I started using it straight away! There was a stink bug between my window and the screen, so I opened the window and used my "catcher". After "chasing" the bug a bit to keep it from crawling for cover, I caught it! I CAN'T BELIEVE HOW WELL THIS ITEM WORKS! I almost bought one of the electric versions for a lot more money but when I saw this item at this price I decided to give it a try. I DO NOT REGRET

I RECEIVED IT! One million gold stars for CRITTER CATCHER!

GET IT! 2 days after receiving my critter catcher, I let it go to catch a praying mantis. I know most people LOVE praying mantises, but we don't! They kill hummingbirds and we have a hummingbird friendly yard! You cannot melee Mantises because they are MADE OF STEEL. Since they're lurking at the hummingbird feeder and in the vine on the wall of our yard where our beloved hummingbird hangs, I NEED something for them (well, and frankly, something for the spiders too!). So this morning a praying…

Gave me back my life and my home

this thing. Oh how it changed my life. I live alone in a small apartment in NYC and have had a mysterious increase in American roaches for the past 3 years. I used to find maybe 2-3 a summer. I've seen 20+ since May, I've paid the exterminator, sealed every nook and cranny, but for some reason they really want to come here and die. Maybe I should take it as a compliment? In any case, it seems better to have mostly dead people than live ones. But I'm really not sure. They are so big that I just…

Wolf & Huntsman Spiders

I've had success so far; However, our spiders are anything but calm, docile, and friendly house spiders. Wolf spiders are aggressive (when provoked) and fast. They range from "not so scary" to "my husband isn't going anywhere". I bought a My Critter Catcher for him hoping it would give him the courage to approach those monsters (his eyes) and carefully dig them up to release them outside to eat the rough bugs. So far I've been the only one using it. I think for a slow moving spider this would…
