I love this thing. Alone for many years. Exactly. Reliable. The latter no longer turned on even during the warranty period, so a complete replacement was sent immediately. Wonderful.

I bought this for my blind elderly grandmother who also has a mild hearing loss. She uses it every day and thanks to the large base, she can get in and out without tripping. Even without a hearing aid, she can hear her voice clearly. So far she hasn't managed to mess anything up, which is quite unusual for her since she can't see what's touching her.

Scales are intended for people who have mobility aids and suffer from visual impairment and some hearing problems and hearing aids. Can be used with a rollator attachment around it. This scale is very nice. If you have any issues preventing you from seeing readings, this scale is perfect for you. Even if your eyesight is ok it's still a great product, pretty accurate and definitely matches the weight reading. I like his clear, happy English accent.
