I like the size, the reasonable price and the reasonably good workmanship, but the surface of the shelf is a bit rough in places. You must carefully sand all surfaces with fine grit sandpaper before use - otherwise it will get caught in your silk scarves.

I bought this because I love long necklaces and my other jewelry holder wouldn't cut it. This works great for me, has just enough height so they don't drag, and the spacing between the hooks means I can put the necklaces on and off without getting tangled. Easy to assemble and while I wouldn't say the quality of the base is outstanding, it does the job!

The base smells really nice like "real wood" and you have a few inches of adjustable height. You need a screwdriver to screw the base to the vertical rod, and the screw goes into the hole on the bottom of the base to make it smooth on the bottom. So make sure the larger bottom opening is facing down. Good product!

I have quite a large collection of tags and this stand allows me to see them all. I bought a second stand for shorter necklaces as the height is adjustable.
