    The tape doesn't work, you lose your GoPro

    The tape broke on the first wave. piece of trash. You should not use this product with the strap provided, it will fail and you will lose your Pro.

    But not that bad. - Accessories

    I like this very much although it is quite rusty where part of the medal was, although I could turn the plastic part it still hasn't come loose. But then it could happen with any other mount. Too bad I only used it 4 times. Instead I decided to buy a different type of mouth mount.

    Reliable, comfortable, the best!

    I live in Hawaii and love to shoot with a barrel and this mouth mount works best. Very comfortable, durable, easy to use.     It didn't sit well with boogie boarding for me. but read on

    If you are a surfer or paddle surfer this would be a great product. I sincerely recommend it! I was boogie boarding and all you could see from my GoPro was the end of my board and my hands. I'm disappointed it didn't work for my situation but it's a quality product when paired with a leash.

    Good product. A great idea.

    A great idea for professional video shooting without the need for a chesty or hat. Used mine for water skiing and water slides. But you can use it for almost any application. Also, the height of the video is much better than that of "Chesty" where the hands etc interfere with the video IMHO.

    Doesn't suit me

    The product is of high quality and durable. The problem for me is that it doesn't capture what my eyes see, it captures what my Adam's apple sees. I had a video that I really wanted to edit. I've had much better results by putting the float directly in my mouth (it's a full mouth). The lanyard that someone had complained about was the only thing of use to me as I gave up the mount and just used the float.

    Interesting first person shots but a bit pricey

    A fun little mount that I use to film my surf in POV so my wife can see the same thing I do when I surf the desert hotspots in Mexico. It is very easy to use and the strap is fastened around the neck to keep the camera from sinking to the ground when wiping. There are several disadvantages. The viewing angle is a little claustrophobic unless you're shooting in wide mode, but wide mode distorts the size/shape of the waveform. The best shots I get are other surfers paddling back.     What is works. Saliva + gum = squeaky noises

    Great for video, that's how it is. You have to hold it firmly with your mouth when you're moving and want smooth footage. Cons: Unless your mouth looks 100% like an iron clamp on a mouthpiece (which is harder than it looks), it moves easily and your teeth get chafed by saliva dripping onto the gum in your mouth, causing it annoying squeaking noise that is captured by the camera. So if you want to use the original sound of your video, those annoying noises will be everywhere. My solution was to…

    Works great in camera mounts and clips

    Easy to use obviously LOL. The only thing I changed after first use was how the cord attaches to the base of the mouthpiece. You mistook it. I ruined a lot of shots because the camera strap got in the way. Thread the string through the base in the other direction so that the strap comes out at the back of the mouthpiece. It won't interfere with the shot. Also the first day I tried it my jaw got a bit tired but the more you use it the less tired.
