Will not fit my 2011 Jetta Sedan. It is 2 cm too deep. I should have guessed from the pin on the motor mounting plate. I shouldn't have it. I guess I'll have to roll the dice and shell out $150 for an OEM that probably won't fit either. $800 for the work.

Wrong base plate for Jetta 2012 - see photo. It may have worked with an old base plate, but the 1 cm (1/2 inch) distance between the brackets on the car is too small. Later it turned out that the MYSMOT INFORMATION STATES THAT THE PART FITS JETTA WAGON ONLY - Doesn't fit both Sedan and Wagon! The score must not refer to the wrong part.
