I bought this just for the smell. I thought it was a good aromatherapy cream that wouldn't harm my skin. I love the scent of lavender, but I'm very sensitive to strong scents and my skin doesn't tolerate them. Risked for the price. The smell is not strong and not quite like lavender; While lavender is the most prominent note, the scent also has herbal/medicinal undertones. In fact, it smelled like a niamicide treated lotion that my dermatologist gave me. I assume the grassy shadow is from Cica?
