This thing works way better than other wireless scanners I have at work. In the near future I will update everyone else to these. The only other thing I had to do besides "plug and play" was adjust the scanner's sleep time. I think it fell asleep after 10 seconds. We had many new bodies, but only one scanner. I have the same brand as the ones we've all used in the office to scan vehicle VINs, but this scanner adds an "I" to the beginning of the VINs depending on the document being scanned. I contacted the seller to see if they could create a code for us to get rid of as we did this with a different scanner and it can scan all the documents correctly.
