I take this bottle with me everywhere. I love that it holds more water than most bottles, which helps me drink more without having to refill. I've broken so many bottles from falling out of my backpack's side pocket or dropping a bottle and this thing is truly unbreakable (at least it has suffered from my many falls). However, I received a black bottle with a black cap that said "Max Petition" instead of "Nalgene". Someone in the orders department wasn't paying attention. The mouth isn't wide enough to fit a hand in, but is wide enough to easily fit a bottle brush in and clean easily. While I wouldn't recommend sticking it firmly in concrete every time you empty a bottle, this plastic feels thick enough to withstand an accidental drop. There is nothing more for me to know. We have been using Nalgene bottles for 7 years now. I wouldn't use any other. They have a wide neck and if you don't like the wide neck you can buy an insert to make it smaller. They are BPA free and durable enough to withstand many falls and bumps which is great as we not only buy them for ourselves but also for our kids.
