Description of Namura NA-10003 Standard Piston Kit for Honda TRX400EX

Namura pistons are made to exact OEM specifications and are direct replacements for OEM pistons with no modifications or dimensional adjustments needed. Piston kits come with the piston(s) individually wrapped, a set of OEM quality rings packed in their own box, wrist pin(s), and circlips. Namura pistons have MOS2 (Molybdenum/Teflon) skirt coatings, high-silicon aluminum and anodized domes. A, B and C pistons are available to help extend the life of expensive Nikasil, SCEM, Boron Composite and Ceramic Cylinders. Namura rings are made by Riken, the world's largest OEM manufacturer and are the same OEM rings used on more motorcycles and ATV's than any other brand. Fit type: Vehicle Specific.

Obviously anyone interested in this piston is concerned about its cost. By the time I started the engine it was obvious that this is a quality part.

The Namura piston gave me 140psi compression what more can I say

So far so good. I used this in my recent top end restoration. That piston and valve action gave me 140psi of compression. The piston looks and feels very high quality. My only complaint is that the piston looks so cool, but it's hidden in the cylinder and I can't see it anymore. I noticed that the installation was a bit fiddly. (Although it will be up to me) As a suggestion for anyone this may apply to: be sure to follow the instructions on their website (rings have a top and bottom and a…
