Disappointing First Aid Solution

Using this product, our team found that the size was inadequate for larger wounds and the packaging was difficult to open in an emergency situation. The only positive was the sterile packaging. Overall, we would not recommend this product for serious camping or hiking trips where accidents could occur.

Pros
  • Effective in controlling bleeding in trauma emergencies.
Cons
  • Difficult to apply accurately without proper training or instructions.

Good product, compact design

Although I initially confused this product with an Israeli combat armband, this is not true and is not claimed. Although the packaging is similar, the packaging is slightly better, with bright red markings showing where to tear to open the packaging. It's also more compact without the plastic slider on the bandage. Good product at a good price.

Pros
  • Sports and outdoor activities
Cons
  • I will add later

If a trauma bandage fits, apply it.

I purchased this product to carry on my duty belt in my OC pocket when on duty. This was the only 4 inch trauma bandage I could find, both worked as I needed and also fit in my surgical bag. In my opinion there are other more effective value added products out there just not in this compact package.

Pros
  • Survival Kits
Cons
  • Some defects
