🏃 Nathan SpeedDraw Insulated 18 oz Handheld Flask for Running and Hiking - Replacement Water Bottle Review

I bought 2 of these belts in July 2019. The insulation works well. I like the larger size. I also use them in my running vest (not a Nathan product). I haven't had any problems with them. I took off a star because they came with a retractable top, not a quick release buckle. I bought Nathan's quick release caps (caps) separately and although they screw on, they don't unscrew as easily as the caps that come with the bottles.

I've been using this water bottle for two months on my longer runs (8-15 miles). This kept my water cold throughout the run and most of the time there were still ice cubes in the water bottle after I finished! That's a big plus because I usually run in the middle of the day (the hottest part of the day). I really like the soft rubber valve. I already own several non-insulated SpeedDraws and have been using them for at least a few years. My problem in the Florida summer is that the drink in it heats up too quickly. I usually load it with ice, add the solution, and then top up with water. So that's pretty much all ice cream for starters. After 45 minutes the ice is completely gone.
