Good packaging, not for everyone.

I like the color of this packaging, it's very eye-catching and beautiful. However, the figure is not that pretty. I am very heavy and could not properly adjust this backpack to me. I was disappointed because it has an adjustable fit but the straps are too narrow to be comfortable. The straps keep rubbing and it wasn't comfortable. In the end I sent the package back.

Pros
  • Certified
Cons
  • Long delivery time

Not designed for outdoor use

I love the way this pack fits and has enough room for food and gear for a tough day hike or trail run. My problem is that with a 2.5 liter bladder, 2 x 20 oz bottles and meals the shoulder straps cut in. I will still use it for short runs/hikes or when I can fill my bladder but will be looking for a package. with frame/waist belt when I need to carry heavier items.

Pros
  • Very good value for money
Cons
  • No performance

Not a total fan of the best hydration packs

I'm a Nathan customer with other hydration packs. I wanted a pack that could hold more gear for slower runs and hikes. This package is not a running package. It can't handle adjustments, it keeps loosening and I spend more time adjusting than enjoying the trail. Be careful - understand what it is intended for. I thought I could run with him, I appreciate my choice.

Pros
  • Price
Cons
  • Secret

This pack is great for trail running. The problem is that the shoulder straps don't tighten or adjust to secure my chest, so the pack doesn't wobble when I move. I also don't find the design of the hydration bladder well thought out, as the tube has no slit through which you could go from the inside of the backpack. You have to leave the compartment a bit open at the end to let the hose through, which means the bag doesn't close completely.

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Very expensive

So many places! for hydration packs

I love this hydration pack! It has plenty of pockets for groceries, extra water bottles or portable devices, and a phone. The zip pocket is a great place to store anything you want to keep safe (keys, ID, insurance card, credit card, cash, etc.). The container holds 2 liters and is quite easy to clean. If I could I would change the material that the front clasps are made of. The straps are adjustable (which is great) but they are too stretchy and tend to stretch on long runs/walks.

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • Some little things

Another dud in hydration packs

So I have some great Nathan hydration vests. I'm not sure what happened or changed in their processes, but it's not good. This is the second vest I have returned and I think I may be done with Nathan Sports. This vest looks great and I love the flip top design. and a spacious NO. The back cushion is hot - like putting it on and starting to sweat hotly. The straps on the side reach almost to the armpit and have an overall 'pincer' feel. I feel the whole back is too high for me and the front…

False advertising - supplied bottle doesn't fit in pocket

Absolutely awful, it's advertised as a package that will hold a 2 liter bottle but the supplied bottle doesn't even fit in a hydration compartment ( see image). I sent it back thinking it was just a defect, Nathan obviously can't have such an obvious misrepresentation of his product, but the second one has the exact same problem. Absolutely awful as I needed it for the ultramarathon I had to resort to my old backpack at the last second, luckily I haven't donated it yet. Used to be a big fan of…

Great running backpack - for outdoors

This is my first running vest and I think it's perfect. There are plenty of pockets to store your essentials. I didn't use a water bag because I usually only take bottles with me. I also walk with my dog and can also pack their things. I love the front pockets, they give you access to your essentials. The backpack is very light. The only downside is that the backpack wobbles a bit when running, but that doesn't bother me. Overall the backpack is comfortable, I've used it on runs from 3 to 9…

Fits like a glove with hydration packs

The only thing I don't like about this hydration pack is the bladder. If you turn it off, it will be difficult to start the water flow. There was an airlock in the hose and I had to take the bottle out of my pocket and draw water back into the hose to keep the water flowing. At first I thought the hose was kinked, but then I realized there was no water in the hose. I even took the drinking nozzle out of the hose and still no water came out. This happens to me because I always turn off the…
