Low quality ceiling plate for framing

While this product may seem like a great addition to your Arts and Crafts collection, it falls short in its quality and durability. The included screws are flimsy and bend easily, making it difficult to securely hang your picture frames. ON the plus side, the plate is easy to install. Unfortunately this is not enough to make up for its overall poor performance..

Pros
  • Easy to install and provides a secure way to hang heavy objects from the ceiling.
Cons
  • May require additional hardware to fit certain types of ceilings.

A good product. just what i need

Hanging a canopy over the boy's bed. We bought from IKEA. It mounts to the wall at ceiling level and occupies a small loop to hold the canopy in place. The only thing needed was a hook. While shopping I found a National Hardware N120-659 ceiling hook (size 12). That works fine. It's long enough to go through drywall and snaps into 2X4's for a secure fit that isn't easy to pull out. My only concern is that when I needed one I had to buy a pack of eight. Well, that was in the TrueValue Store, not

Pros
  • Sharp point bites wood easily and quickly
Cons
  • Damaged
