I used these on my home made metal A-frame swing. It was exactly what I needed. They are easy to install and perform much better than the I-bolt. The bearing allows for swinging without metal-to-metal friction, causing the swing chain to break.

I needed a replacement for our kids swing. You can't tighten them on a 2 2/2" set as the threads only go down. Later I will add a vibrating bolt. a way to become a good replacement for a metal swing set, not just a wooden swing set.

Firstly, as other reviewers have noted, they do not directly fit standard 2 1/2 swing kits. You should be ready to install some sort of washer or spacer to hook the remaining threads. The thread grips 3 inches. More importantly to me, the name is misleading, they don't have warehouses. They have plastic inserts to help with friction but they are not bearings.
