Very nice! My only complaint would be that it needs more light for my liking. I want to double the amount. I added more battery powered lights that I had to fill up, but that then means you have to hide another battery compartment. A small tree skirt will help. However, this table tree is the perfect size for an elderly friend or relative in a nursing home or care center. When folded it was very small but once I started opening the branches it turned out to be a lot more wood than I thought it would be. It is very beautiful and has a backlight. I bought this tree because I knew it was battery powered, but I really wanted it to be mains powered. I just couldn't find a plug-in tree that looked as good as this one in other areas (pre-lighting, good overall quality, etc.). It uses 3 AA batteries and they seem to run out pretty quickly. It will turn off automatically after 6 hours and after say a week of that, 6 hour session a day, you will definitely notice the lights dimming. This tree comes with LED lights. It is battery operated and lights up perfectly once the batteries are in and the switch is on. Opening the battery compartment was a bit fiddly. At first I thought I might have broken it, but it's just tabs that attach to the holders and need to be pulled out. When you're done, snap them back onto the holders.
