Pros: This brush has soft bristles. Why does it have three stars. It lathers great, no mold on it. The length is great. minuses; Huge, heavy round head. It should be oval to naturally fit the body. The head makes it too difficult to use. No grip on the handles. As soon as you soap your hand, it slips out and falls to the ground. (Another pro didn't break despite falling a lot.) If they could make an oval shape with handles, this would be the perfect bath brush.

This thing ripped my back even after I got wet. The brush is tough, the bristles are tough. I soaked it for 2 hours before using it and it was still too hard. My back is scratched and hurts. I wouldn't recommend this for a body wash.

The handles of the two brushes are not as long as the description suggests and I am disappointed. The product is serviceable but I wish the handle was longer and preferably slightly curved rather than perfectly straight like this one. Emptor caveat I think. I'll know better next time.

I don't know why I see so many reviews that the bristles are too hard. I will use a dry brush that will remove dead skin cells without stretching the skin. Therefore the bristles must be stiff. I had the perfect cactus bristle drybrush, but it's outdated and I'm trying to find the same stiffness. Not hard enough yet. I wish they had handles too. It's a little slippery.

My husband uses one of these back brushes every day in the shower. He loves the clean feeling it gives his back. He has previously had issues with blackheads, ingrown hairs and pimples on his back, but not after using these brushes consistently.

The handle does not give way so that the pressure force is transferred directly to the brush head: nothing is lost in the handle.
