I returned it when I found it was so much cheaper than other similar items because it was only 1 stem. The description refers to "Pole" and shows a photo of someone with two. Also, a pole we received wobbled a bit when weight was put on it. This product wasn't for us.

I bought several sets of these poles because I need help on long walks with knee problems. The great thing is that they fold very small, smaller than most, so I can put them in a bike bag, backpack or whatever. They are very light and thinner than most but strong enough for my needs. Very satisfied.

I bought this for a trip to Machu Picchu and it fits easily in my small backpack and works great when I need it. I walk quite a bit at home in Hawaii and prefer to only have a stick for balance or to use my other free hand to give myself "extra boost". I love how easy it is to assemble and the bag it came in was great. The goalkeeper!

Look at the pictures of people walking with two sticks. The description itself even includes the words "Pol" and "Pol". Although the pole seems strong.

Bought for someone who has occasional trouble walking and moving. They wanted a walking stick that folds up so it's easy to carry around when not in use. They use it regularly and are very satisfied with both the form and the function of this hiking pole. This is the second one they have, the first lasted about 3 years and still works but the rubber strap is almost worn out.

Although I haven't had a reason to use this yet, it gives me a sense of security when I travel. Major surgeries and a sedentary lifestyle made walking a problem. When I'm at home, I have wooden sticks at work and in the car. This gives me choice when I travel, especially by plane. When stretched it seems very strong. The handle is comfortable and the whole thing is light enough to carry around in my big bag.
