I bought this coat for my son and it was bigger than I expected for a size 4 but it worked because he wore it 3 years in a row! And it still looks brand new, and now his brother will grow into it this year. Very very happy with my purchase. Excellent quality!

I bought this for my 11 year old son who is very into fashion. I wasn't sure if he would wear a hood but I have to say this jacket is so cute and warm and HE EVEN WEARS A HOOD! Great quality and very durable for my very active 11 year old. It is possible to buy in another color! money well spent.

Ordered size 7 for my son. I would say true to size. He is 6.5 years old and there is a place in it. (Not a big 6 year old) We chose 7 as he can wear it all winter. i hope lol If your child was a husky, I would make them bigger. Overall a good coat, good quality and stylish. I will buy again.

Got this for my 3 year old grandson two winters ago. It was huge when new, but once he put it on it stayed warm and dry. He's grown into it this winter, and the jacket is durable and will still keep you warm and dry even when his older brothers snow-bomb him. This is a very well made coat. Highly recommended.

Excellent, warm, heavyweight, beautifully finished jacket. It sells here for less than a third of the ticket price, so a fantastic price. I'm a size 4 for my 3 year old and will probably last two winters. If you're about to get this, do it! I don't think you will find a better kids jacket for the price.

After reading the reviews, I did not decide at all whether I need a size for my son. My son is 8 years old, 51 inches tall, 59 pounds. It is very thin and I have the small size and it fits well. He can definitely wear it next year because it doesn't quite fit. Also this jacket is a REAL jacket, it is not thin at all, very good quality!

Bought last winter for my 18 month old as I knew he was going to be a little big but will grow into it. He is now 33 months old and still very tall. It's a little smaller than average, but I'd still recommend getting a size down. He can be carried, but the sleeves are so long that he cannot use his arms. Nice coat though. We keep getting comments about it. It's better than mine and warm enough for a Utah winter.
