Based on my observations the outer material is exceptionally durable, making it a long-lasting investment for your closet. Great thick coat. Resists the wind.

I have been buying Nautica coats for many years. They're great for Midwest winters, and this one is perfect for January through March. The Nautica runs on the small side so the fit for the Nautica was as expected. Excellent fabric. It doesn't last.
