Slow Speeds in Ethernet Cables

I get faster Wi-Fi speeds than wired with this patch panel. I have no experience with network setup, but setup was pretty easy, so I'm not sure what I could have done wrong. It could be a Cat6 cable which I also used. Anyway, it works and was easy to set up, but I'm not getting more than 100Mbps through this patch panel. I'll update this review when I can figure out how to match my speed with Wi-Fi.

Pros
  • NUMBERED PORTS: Bold port numbers allow for quick and easy outlet identification.
Cons
  • Hard to say

Excellent quality, price and functionality.

This patch panel is a great product. It fits perfectly into my living structure. All 24 ports are working properly. Very easy to install and wire. Works great with POE cameras, routers and NAS devices. The only disappointment was that it didn't include a rear wire support section as shown in the pictures. I don't need it anyway, but thought I should add it.

Pros
  • COMPATIBILITY: Color-coded TIA/EIA 568A (international standard) and 568B (AT&T standard) wiring diagrams are available for reference and easy installation.
Cons
  • Can I add something?

Good quality product for your money.

Was fairly solid, had no problems punching through wires or plugging ethernet cables into ports. I bought it together with the Navepoint case, everything fit perfectly. I would recommend.

Pros
  • EASY INSTALLATION. Install this 24-port Cat-6 patch panel into an EIA-compliant 19" rack, bracket, or enclosure using the included hardware. Requires 1U of rack space.
Cons
  • Style 90

Good quality at a good price!

I bought this for my network closet project to clear my ethernet lines and remove my switching gear from my server rack. I would normally go for a patch panel with a jack keystone, but given the price of a good quality keystone and the fact that no type of keystone other than RJ45 is required, I went down the less expensive route of a custom RJ45 patch panel decided. I chose this panel because it includes a strain relief bracket, which is quite rare at this price point, and because it comes…

The RJ45 jacks are loose and won't hold the connector.

Wish the product was better. I had 6 CAT6e lines going to the panel and 4 of them didn't work. Thinking it might be my wiring job, I redid all the connections that didn't work. It didn't work so I reconnected all the outlets thinking they might not be plugged in properly. At one point when I was plugging in a cable next to a cable that I had rewired and tested, double checked and rewired, I moved the connector to the side a bit while plugging in another cable and saw the connection light come…

Pros
  • INSTALLATION HARDWARE INCLUDED: There is no need to purchase additional mounting hardware as the necessary cable ties and mounting screws are included.
Cons
  • So far so good
