Beautiful working cabinet. It comes disassembled so it took about 3 hours to assemble. The fans that are on are very noisy (good for an already noisy server room, but not suitable for more conventional rooms where people need to hear/speak), so we won't be using fans. Also Fedex messed up the delivery through no fault of the case. After we received and installed it, it looked very nice and is still happy with its value.

Cons

Perfect home networking solution

The device corresponds to the description, requires assembly, it took me about 30 minutes to assemble. My only complaint is that the included instructions should be re-created and friendlier for someone who has never built anything like this before. I had to use a bit of common sense when assembling if the instructions weren't fully explained. The unit itself is solid, the fans are a bit noisy, but they definitely keep all of my internal hardware cool. I love that there are 3 key locks so you…

Pros
  • Very good value for money
Cons
  • Incredible piggy bank

Good for the price.

I bought a 6U rack but didn't have enough hardware to support 6 1U devices. Considering that most network devices are 1U in size, these devices should be rack mounted. The fans are very noisy and the hardware mounting rails are very flimsy. Aesthetically it's very nice so I'll leave it and update the rails and hardware.

Pros
  • Acceptable
Cons
  • Something is wrong

Great Rack I have bought several of these

Great Rack I have bought several of these. The old structure was more difficult to assemble, but it definitely stuck to the wall well. The new design attaches to the wall at the top with just two screws. I'm not sure how well this will hold up to varying loads over time. I will update if it doesn't work. If you get a new design make sure you mount it on studs or plywood that attaches to the studs! Very well built. The new design is easier to assemble with more detailed instructions and I even…

  • Elegant design

Great for the price

So this is my first rackmount server cabinet ever built and the instructions were easy the box was heavy but that usually means quality! All in all, it took me about an hour to assemble it for the first time! The overall quality was pretty good, only 2 things bothered me now - one of the M6 bolts was broken, luckily they had 2 spares and the other was a lockable display case. it's really tight. otherwise it works. Also a note: The rear hanging rod for mounting is about 1.25" shorter on both…

Pros
  • Great for the price
Cons
  • Big and bulky

Good Home 6U Rack: Racks and Cabinets

Good 6U rack for the price. Some of the holes were difficult to thread (partly filled with paint) and required using an electric drill to drive the screws. The instructions on the shelf were incomplete and the details in the instructions did not match the shelf I purchased. Luckily, this rack is almost identical to Tripp Lite's SRW6U 6U Wall Mount Stand and is easy to expand with Tripp Lite's instructions. The locking mechanisms that come with the shelf are secure but quite difficult to install

Pros
  • Stable test results
Cons
  • Newer model could have been chosen

Beautiful wardrobe in shelves and cabinets

I love these cabinets. I use a lot of these when upgrading our infrastructure. However, this was not very deep. It works great with 24 port Cisco switches, but we tried to install a 48 port switch but the depth wasn't enough. I saw the deluxe and am ordering the deluxe at 9am and 12pm so thought it was the same depth. I have to find some fault in that, but if Deluxe isn't the same everywhere, it would help to put the emphasis on 19in DEPTH. The title only says 19 inches. But then I would look…

Pros
  • Cool product
Cons
  • For pensioners

Very nice stand but I didn't expect to spend an hour to set it up. We are a commercial reseller and the local university just needed a small stand that bolts to the wall so we just listed a price to sell and install the stand at a minimal markup only to find out we had 15 pieces and packages would need to break out screws to follow the instructions to assemble it first. We may have missed the notice that it requires assembly, but we still paid our employee for taking the time to put it together

Pros
  • Hands free
Cons
  • Sad packaging
