Not much to say about the shelf but this one is definitely worth it, it was very strong and heavier than expected, definitely a very good shelf! It currently supports 2 NVR cameras and 2 PS4 cameras! Definitely a good buy

This shelf is educational! It's a good size to carry a lot of weight and I have no doubt that it lives up to its specs. I use two with the StarTech 4U audio stand and they are the perfect depth for easy access to all ports. The vents allow the heat from my amp to dissipate, keeping the DAC cool. Pretty decent price for a better quality shelf.

Sturdy small parts shelf that allows you to place small consumer equipment in a rack. A shallow depth is good for shallow shelves. The vents are too wide to use for attaching gear, but have room for zips or Velcro.

The thing fits like a glove, looks great, goes with VeloCloud and an ADT gateway nearby. Just enough space for a few other things. My only complaint. What is the lip pointing down for? It doesn't hold anything on the shelf, doesn't appear to reinforce the shelf, and occupies 1/3 of 1U when mounted directly over something else.

With my Barracuda firewall, the rackmount kit costs twice as much as this shelf. This shelf made it easy to set up a firewall in 1U of space. Note. If you're placing a lot of equipment, the shelf will take up little space, so you might not, for example, rack up a full 48U (depending on the size of the equipment).

Durable metal. I bought another from another AC Infinity and it was noticeably thinner and less durable than this one. This one was heavier, less flexible. I will buy them from now on. How difficult is it to make a solid shelf rack? Its sole purpose is to hold weight without flexing. Obviously this is more difficult than it looks as one supplier has missed the target and this does not come cheap for steel section products.

StarTech products are heavy, durable, and always built to specification. Their products are very reasonably priced, but even if they were "a little more expensive" than a competitor's product, I would choose StarTech.
