NBPCLCD Replacement 14M DW0023DX 14M DW1023DX 14M DW1033DX Review

My analysis of this laptop screen replacement showed that it was poorly made and did not fit properly. The colors were washed out and the screen had noticeable dead pixels. The only positive was that it was relatively easy to install. However, the overall quality was unacceptable and I would not recommend this product to anyone.

This replacement screen fits perfectly and comes with a useful tool to separate the screen bezel from the screen for removal. BUT... Replacing the screen of an HP All-in-One isn't easy without breaking a couple of small tabs that hold the screen in place. I tried to be very careful but a clip or two broke and I had to use glue to get a tight fit in a few places. I would not advise doing this repair unless you are familiar with computer screen or cell phone screen replacement.

The screen is an exact replacement for my HP Pavilion 14m dw 0023dx laptop. I also bought a set of computer screwdrivers which is a must have. Make sure it comes with scouting tools. I took my time and had no real problems other than the old screen being difficult to remove due to the tape and metal clips holding it to the computer substrate. I had a hard time deciding if the two metal brackets were part of the back of the computer or part of the screen. YouTube didn't help because this…
