The product matched the description.

Goods come quickly. I used both mounts and tested both cables. Everything worked. The screwdriver's magnetism was weak, but the screws are small. Nine screws to attach the drives to both brackets. Five screws to attach the brackets to the computer bays. I didn't need these screws as the brackets snapped into my drive trays.

Pros
  • Brings joy
Cons
  • Some defects

The holes are not ideal for computers and accessories

These adapters are usually good for the job, but we used them in a case that had pins instead of screws to attach the drives. That was the SuperMicro case. The holes on the 3.5" side were slightly off spec so the pins didn't line up. We drilled holes and everything worked. If the screws were used as usual, this probably wouldn't be noticeable.

Pros
  • Looks great
Cons
  • ---

I only used three parts (a 2.5 to 3.5 tray, a SATA power divider and one of the two SATA data cables. In other words, about 1/2 part But it was worth it because buying individually would cost the same or more, and that way if I was surprised during the install/rebuild I probably would have the parts I needed.

Pros
  • GOLS certified
Cons
  • Out of fashion
