Description of Optimized Cable Management with Neat Patch Cable Management Unit

Eliminates the need to use wire managers such as plastic finger ducts riveted to metal or metal D-Rings. Surges and grounding electrical issues eliminated by unique non-conductive one piece molded design. Creates a balanced patching environment by providing 48 port cycles which allow single coil circuits to be stored in the rack.

Disappointing: cables and connections

This hides the extra cable length. Maybe it's just me. I installed 4 of these in a high density switch and patch rack. I took my time laying out the patch panels and switches for each and tried my best and it didn't look so good in the end. I wouldn't use this with more than 16 or 24 patch cords. In all honesty, I think properly positioned devices with short cables look better, save a lot of rack space, and are easier to track down and replace. 3", 6" or 12". JM2C

Far too big and conspicuous, otherwise it works well.

Works exactly as described but has more depth at the front. The seller has been very open about it, but it's ridiculously profound. I have 2 different Tripp Lite stands and it will NOT fit without a rear bracket and compromise. It's not meant to be as big as it is, so it looks like a silly design. The front part is also very noticeable, I think cheap European plastic. I wish the logo was removable and I could opt for a plain black front. In short: it does what it says on the tin, it's all…

Fantastic product for new shelves and refurbishments.

Awesome product and patch management concept. Works best with a 48 port patch panel that mates with a 48 port switch, but I've also used them with 24 port switches where all ports support one side of the switch, but if you're using a full switch it gets very tight on one side. The included cables with quick open packs are great. My company ordered 6 Neat Patch 2U Cable Managers for an overhaul of two different network racks. We've had Belkin brand counterparts, but they don't have a deep cable…
