Be sure to pour ice water first.

We used them for a 10k hike and they worked great! There were plenty of pockets for our keys, phones, trace compound, and bug spray. The water stayed cold for some time and only warmed up in the last 30 minutes of the hike. The temperature that day was also over 85F so needless to say they were perfect and I would buy them again!

Pros
  • Quality construction
Cons
  • Questionable purchase for seniors

Excellent quality and size for all ages

Bought these for my son and I to use during our holiday at Nat'l Parks a few weeks ago. I didn't have high hopes but didn't want to spend money on a famous brand so I tried these two packs. IMPRESSED! The bladder size is 2 liters I believe and it was enough for every day as we walked in GC and biked in Mesa Verde. The size fits all - I'm 5'8 and my son is 11 and 5'. The bladder never leaked, the mouthpiece had a nice lid and was easy to use. I would definitely recommend it.

Pros
  • Top marks for grip and durability from testers
Cons
  • Protection

Excellent quality, good product -

This is excellent value for money. Light weight and easy to use and clean. I just got them yesterday on April 11th. Received and used 1 same day. I have a very large yard and find it very difficult to walk back and forth in warm weather to get a drink to stay hydrated, so a hydration pack seemed perfect. I add flavored electrolytes to my water and my bladder hasn't changed the taste. Even though I only gave 1, I only used a quick rinse. Oh, they fold up nicely to fit in a backpack for easy…

Pros
  • Comfortable to use
Cons
  • Expensive

Great size, with a contoured fit and a lot more room.

Music festival Season is coming and I've tried many backpacks and hydration systems over the past year. I find most of them quite bulky and with all my goodies in there they tend to sag and drag throughout the day. I love the slim design which even with the hydration pack still has two large pockets for glowsticks, gum, sunscreen, tissues and anything else you might need! fold and put back in travel bag. Highly recommended!

  • Nice item

Great Buy: Accessory

We bought 2 of these last summer for our many adventures (Glacier Nat'l Park, Lake of the Ozarks, several kayak trips, a trip to Rehoboth Beach) and they've held up well on. No bad taste from bags/tubes, no leakage problems. It's a good idea to buy a drying rack that you can slide into or support in some way while it's drying so water doesn't stay inside and cause mold. The pockets themselves have space for extra items (energy bars, ID/cash, keys, etc.). They keep the water nice and cold…

Pros
  • Great for a small home
Cons
  • Renovation

Full bladder, no water supply.

Attention buyers! I'm glad we did a test hike before heading out into the desert. The feeding tube was incredibly difficult to attach to the bladder. After ten minutes of hiking, my husband couldn't get water from the tap. We opened the bladder to adjust the pressure and he took a sip before just stopping to feed water. There were air bubbles in the hose. Mine worked fine until the last half hour of our walk when the pressure in my tube stopped delivering water. I could never get a drop of it…

Pros
  • Everything is fine!
Cons
  • I don't remember

I can't clean the tube. Cannot dry completely.

This is the set we got for our kids. We went camping and it was necessary. Not sure why we are asked to rate the taste. Maybe the smell of chemical residues from the factory. We washed them, they tasted a bit strange, not really. Hats are a nuisance to put on and take off. As if they were sticky from a seal. Maybe good. I've never bought a hydration pack before, so I didn't know what to look for. But I've definitely learned one thing: Emptying and clearing out isn't that easy. The hole is too…

Pros
  • Pretty packaging
Cons
  • No instructions

Great for the price - small and kid friendly

Ordered 4 of these - one for each grandchild and one for me to take with us on our trip to OBX and Shenandoah NP. They nibbled off the top of my really good camelback last year, so this year I went for a smaller version. They were easy to assemble and route the hose left or right. Each of us has decorated the cyclist on the packaging and in a very practical bag so that we can easily distinguish them from each other. NO LEAKS, kids (7,8,9) could fill their own and loved having zipped…

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • There are new competitors

Fantastic design fits hydration packs

I bought these for my kids (6 and 3 year olds) but although they are a bit big there are a few things about the design that make them a great option make. More for them: -Pockets: There are 2 large zipped pockets and a mesh pocket on the back meaning kids can carry their own snacks and if they want to carry sticks/rocks they can take as many as they want. wear! - Hose connection: the hoses are usually very difficult to clean, but they are completely detachable, which makes emptying and cleaning

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • Frequency
