Got this to hold my mother's ashes and I'm not disappointed at all. The silver tree of life ball holding the small pink urn is securely locked with a chain going through the hole. OMG very nice. I use this item as a good luck charm. It may seem strange, but I asked my daughters and husband to give me a lock of hair, and then I took a lock of my own hair and put all four hairs in the amulet. Happiness comes from the fact that we are always together, even when we are not together. I got so many compliments on this necklace that I bought it for my best friend too.

The central ball where the ash is placed does not screw well. Feels like plastic and is supposed to be stainless steel. I am very disappointed in this necklace and would definitely not use it to bury my loved one's ashes.

When I saw this pendant I thought it would be very nice because the sphere in which the remains are kept is large (relatively) and will be easy to fill. And we could mix up the remains of our parents and put them together into a pendant. And it turned out exactly how I thought it would.

It says it's silver but it's not (plating aside). I'm in now. it was meant to represent the tree of life and my love for the lost. Instead I can't wear it because I'm allergic to everything but silver and can't figure out how to contact the company. Oh well.

I like the way it looks. I like the size of the chain to hold the charm. It will contain my mother's ashes and I feel it will be secure around my neck. I would like a version with chains of different lengths. The one that comes with the kit is a little longer than I like. I would like to wear it between the two I bought and wear it to work.
