DO NOT BUY! This is NOT suitable for thin 18" ring light. The shapes are completely different (the original is a square, which Replacement is a rectangle.) Very frustrating because if you break the original like I did you basically have to buy a new ring light.

This is a life saver I'm a makeup artist and I lost my adjustable screw at a client. I didn't know what to do but the adjustable light converter works just like it did when I first got my lamp, I ended up just using the two front screws and it costs very well!

Thought it would be a quick little fix but you actually have to take the whole back off to replace it. A project that I thought would take 5 minutes ended up taking 30 minutes. You will need needle-nosed pliers and a screwdriver for this. Caution: The tiny studs are difficult to hook into the screw because it is so small and there are wires in the way.

Replacement for the original on the ring light. I suggest starting with the big screws and swapping what needs to be switched. If you have to remove the base, putting four bolts into the screws is a big problem if you're not good with your hands. I had to disassemble the back, take out the electronics and get some tweezers to hold the screws so I could put everything back together.
