Excellent rod stand and stands

Good solid and strong stands. They are spring-loaded and prevent falling when loosening the height adjustment. The tripods are long but can be adjusted to limit space. The stand is way better than the ones that come with most kits. Yes, I would buy this stand again. I have already bought 2.

Pros
  • Delivery was very quick
Cons
  • Very expensive

Sturdy and durable - lighting

Bought these light stands to place my lights during weddings. My measly 7ft didn't lend itself well to certain movements - bought these two as a pair and they are quite large and seem very sturdy! I have had many NEEWER products in the past and they have held up well for a long time. So far I am a happy customer!

Pros
  • Great for outdoor activities

durable and stable best in lighting and studio

I used them on an outdoor shoot recently. As so often in Texas, it was very windy that day. Constant speed 15 m/s, gusts up to 23 m/s. With a single sandbag, it held steady even with a 47-inch Octabox on it. My older, lighter, smaller racks were blown over in the wind and only contained a 32" octabox. I'm impressed by how strong and stable they are. But you have to pay for them, they are pretty heavy for remote work.

Pros
  • trial for one year
Cons
  • crumpled packaging

Best Stands: Lighting & Studio

These are by far the strongest and best stands I have ever bought. Solid plug on top compared to some I've had before that have been riveted and moved with any weight. They are solidly made, work well and hold a decent amount of weight. I recommend getting some sandbags if you work with them outside, really for any stand. Will definitely buy them again if I need to add more.

Pros
  • Free for Education
Cons
  • Vulgarity

NON-ALUMINUM ALLOY best lighting

Let me teach the manufacturers of this product how to differentiate between ferrous alloys like steel and non-ferrous alloys like aluminum. THE MAGNET WILL APPLY TO THE STEEL. 3 seconds out of the box (and a few more seconds checking the whole body with a magnet) told me this is NOT an aluminum light stand. But it is durable. If you've been looking for a LIGHTWEIGHT ALUMINUM STAND, this isn't it. ONCE AGAIN. It's NOT aluminum. This is STEEL. Learn to distinguish.

Pros
  • easy to read control panel
Cons
  • dim

Very pleasantly surprised, great quality!

Well these light stands arrived today and after almost 30 years of working professionally on large productions I really didn't expect anything more than the bare minimum for these light stands but the purchase exceeded all my expectations. I chose the pro version here and after getting so used to the old professional and lightweight light stands from well known brands and others over many years of production, they have far exceeded my expectations. strong. Cheap tripods are good for lighting

I was impressed by how solid these tripods are for the price. The construction is almost entirely aluminum except for the locking knobs, which are made of hard plastic. The base is very wide (read this as sturdy), all connection points are rivets (not screws as I think the product photos show). I'll have to see if they loosen up over time and replace them. with bolts. But like new they are fine. I literally received them, unboxed them, ran to the shoot and used them. You did well. They held up…

Well made and great prices

For the price they are durable and well made. The shock-absorbing feature is a good defense in case you don't tighten the adjustment knobs properly and the center column collapses. They are more than powerful enough for medium to large sized flashes (400 WS in my case but I don't know the weight) plus a modifier. With the support bar and brackets, you can also use it as a background support. Would buy again, except now I'm set on lightweight racks (these are my two best). 4 stars because I've…
