I think this set will help hold the camera securely while recording video but the shoulder rest needs some adjustment. The camera mounting screw slides easily to the ends and unscrews on its own and can be lost, so I put tape on each end to keep the screw centered at all times. Installation takes a few minutes if you don't keep the camera mounted all the time, but in some cases it's better than carrying a tripod. If you can buy it in the $50 price range, it's worth it.

But when I put the camera on it, I found a problem with one of the functions. There is an adjustable wing nut to adjust the opening height of the barn doors depending on your camera body and lens. I really like this rig. I would give 4.5 stars. The only thing I don't like is the plastic sun visor. They did a really good setup and then put a cheap plastic sunshade on top. This works fine, but degrades the appearance and quality of the installation. Also, it's really nice and way nicer than other stabilizers I have. I use this with a Canon Vixia HF R800 camcorder and it works great. After using it, I wondered how I ever managed without it. It ensures smooth movements by holding the camera on the shoulder with two hands. This is great shoulder gear!. I bought it and it was delivered within two days with Prime. This increased stability during filming. I shoot with a Canon 70D and can use multiple lenses. You can customize the barn doors to fit your lens. I was able to easily mount Canon 10-18mm and Canon 24mm lenses. There are some Ikea-like building instructions out there, but it's not that hard to put together. The barn doors are plastic and attached to the rig and will likely break over time or excessive wear
