I use these LED panels to illuminate landscapes when photographing the Milky Way at night. You need surprisingly little light to balance the foreground and sky. Even with full blackout and a red filter, there is still too much light. I actually opened one up and cut through the PCB foil with a razor knife so only 1/4 of the LEDs would light up.
