I used it on my Marshmello helmet lens originally and it works great. I fog up easily but that's probably because I breathe on it. I DO NOT RECOMMEND this for old steam jars that use incandescent bulbs and heat up. I experimented with a hair dryer to try and give the gel the curve of the helmet but it deformed a lot.

I bought these Neewer Gels to use with Neewer 480 Bi-Color LED Panels. After just 15 MINUTES of use, the color gel sheet began to warp and melt under the very low heat of the LED lights. Color gels are marked "for LED lamps" but not in my experience. The quality is very low. It wasn't worth the $17 I paid. Seriously, the amount of Neewer gear I'm stocking up on. Another set of excellent quality, good quality. Playing with gels on a gray background with Neewer 300WS monoblocks. To get a decent spread, I have a 16-inch cosmetic bowl. Gives a nice color but the gels are not big enough to cover the entire plate so quite a bit of white light leaks out. I also doubled the gels. , I bought these to use with my newer studio flashes. I have a standard parabolic reflector that mounts via a Bowens mounting adapter and I simply glued the sheet to the front of the reflector. After just a few shots at say 75% power, the gel sheet showed signs of melting in the center of the sheet. It was a good 5 inches from the flash element, but it was already deformed. Not sure if it's because of the thickness (they're really thick - more like thin plastic wrap than the flimsy cellophane…
