Space saving! on camera and photo

Perfect! Just what I needed to get my tripod off the ground. My suite isn't very big so I had to install a Neewer ring light to save space! I am very glad that I bought this wall mount. *Only if you are mounting to drywall do you need to go to the hardware store for high capacity anchors and screws*.

Pros
  • Large selection
Cons
  • Slightly torn

Reliable product and good value for money

I have no hesitation in hanging an expensive strobe/softbox on this boom. It is very well made, especially in this price range. My only concern is that I think with a little thought they could design it to fold horizontally against the wall. It folds vertically, which is great. Everyone around is very happy about it.

Pros
  • Weight
Cons
  • Negative gift

It's worth the money within fifty dollars

I'm a photographer and I'm buying two of these for my new studio. On one I have a Godox sk400ii installed with a thirty seven invc bowen mount softbox. I like how I can control the light. I must say that when adjusting the boom you can remove a light that is too heavy and reinstall after adjusting. I give this product 100% so far. It is durable and easy to use. That's what I expect from my photo equipment. Go buy now!

Pros
  • Dope 🔥
Cons
  • Hard to say

Works well on poles and stands

Like Look/Feel - Easy to adjust Dislike - Maybe something to route the cord. (seen from the side of the lamp support this does not seem so easy) Notes - Note: the lamp installed must be a few meters from the pivot point. Somehow I hadn't considered that when ordering. =) Overall 5 stars.

Pros
  • Specialty
Cons
  • Mostly good but...

Heavy duty, flexible and easy to use

Small office/studio. I set them high and so the diagonal release is only about 1/4 turn to loosen them enough to pivot down and still stay in place. The closures at the ends are also very flexible. They can then be placed protruding from the end of the post or perpendicular to it, horizontally or vertically. They even came with some very strong fasteners, but I placed them on hollow drywall and had to modify them a bit. If you're attaching them to a cavity wall with wood studs, I suggest lining

Pros
  • Secure attachment: 4 set screws included so you can easily and securely mount the boom to a solid wall
Cons
  • Easily torn

Heavy Duty Wall Light Boom - Big and Strong

I'm impressed with the construction of this wall bracket. It has strong tubes (similar to speaker stands) and strong adjustment hardware. The hinge on the wall mount is firm and holds its position well (I was afraid it might dangle and not stay where I put it, but don't worry). I took some photos with the 5ft 10" mannequin I have in my studio to show the relative size and weight of the build. Note that the metal wall mount has 4 screw holes, but only 2 of them will fit on a regular wooden rack.

Pros
  • Includes: Neewer Wall Bracket and 4 Expansion Bolts
Cons
  • I'll get back to you

If you are building a studio, you need one of these

These wall mounts are amazing, they are very strong and well built! Anyone planning to build a small studio definitely needs one of these, it really helps me to save space because I have to move the lights all the time, and instead of a wall mount, you can also mount a microphone here. or even mount the camera on the ceiling or wall, the possibilities are endless. I have tried all possible options and I love this product. I bought a second one shortly after the first one and I actually bought…

Pros
  • Wide Application: The Neewer Wall Mount is a compact mount for strobe, monolight, ring light, softbox, reflector and microphone for mounting on the wall of your room, studio or workshop
Cons
  • Cable is shorter than other
