Simply amazing quality and quantity for the price

This is absolute luxury for a simple diffusion material. The price is excellent for the quality and quantity of stuff you get. But I can't say anything negative. Brilliant.

Pros
  • Satisfied so far
Cons
  • Incredible price

Good for taking photos!

Cut and glue onto the cool LEDs and you get a nice diffused light that's great for portraits. 20 x 5 feet is probably enough for 50 (just a guess) lights - I've only used it for 3 lights and I have a ton left.

Pros
  • Feels good
Cons
  • No automatically

This is good stuff

This is good stuff. It's a bit thin compared to what I was looking for as a diffuse material for flash photography, but double or quad layered and it's totally opaque and diffuses the light really well.

Pros
  • Fingers crossed
Cons
  • Expensive

Ideal as a backdrop for my videos

Ideal as a backdrop for my videos. I cut off a small piece to use as a diffuser material but I mostly use it in my background frame and I love it! It's big enough that I cut it in half and made two layers as it's quite thin.

Pros
  • Everything is great!
Cons
  • There are nuances

Very good diffused light

I used this material to make some small LED diffusers that I can fold and adjust to avoid the annoying LED pattern that irritates my talent. I also doubled it up and made a big diffuser for the overhead fluorescent lights and ended up getting a nice glow in my studio as an extra light. I have plenty left for future projects.

Pros
  • Very impressive
Cons
  • Bad impression

Spreads wonderful light!

I bought three of these curtains to diffuse the light in my south facing studio. I use them in one layer, hang them up without curling them so it's as even as possible. They diffuse the light perfectly without harsh shadows. On extremely sunny days that shine straight into the studio, I add another layer right by the window to scatter it a bit more. I definitely recommend this product. I will be buying more to make a giant strobe canvas in my studio.

Pros
  • There's something to it
Cons
  • No paint needed

Ideal to spread a large window of daylight!

On a recent video/photo job I had to work next to a large south facing glass wall in the harsh afternoon sun. I needed a material to diffuse the light and the seamless diffuse fabric worked flawlessly. The fabric was long enough to cover the entire length of the wall on set and the soft light it cast on the talent was amazing. Basically, I was able to use the light from the window as the main light with the scattering material. Customers have been impressed and I give Neewer Seamless a high…

Pros
  • Nice job
Cons
  • Long wait

Ideal for DIY lenses

This is great value for money. It's very big. I made two 8'x4.5' diffusion plates from just one sheet of this material. One layer isn't good for diffusing close-up light sources (like an LED directly behind the foil), but two foils are very effective. Each layer cuts out about 2.5 stops of light. So to get the same effective brightness as a simple incandescent bulb, you need about 5.5 times as many light sources, or 5.5 times as much light to get the same brightness on the other side of the…

Pros
  • Pretty packaging
Cons
  • Useless features
