This could be good if you are looking for Red, Blue, Bluish, Greenish, Pink and Yellow. If you want true RGB/CMY they won't work. The material is also relatively inferior.

I used these gels at 300 watt light. They melted and distorted within minutes. When using more than one, they fused and fused together. Also, they gave the camera the desired view.

Filters melt when used in a standard PAR 38 bucket containing a PAR 38 lamp. The product describes them as useful for "DJ lighting” and the PAR38 is just that. Need a caveat on temperatures and use.

This is great when you are trying to get atmospheric lighting or need colored lights for something. We used them on a project with high school students and they were strong, easy to cut, easy to use and perfect for this project.

The colors have no sharp edge at all. When I look through the green filter I still see red and blue which I shouldn't see. Blue blocks red decently, but green doesn't. I literally bought it just for the magenta filter (which should cut off all green, not red or blue), but it *barely* reduces the green. If you want real effect with these colors, you won't get them.

These gels are quite good for changing the color of light. I was expecting a dramatic difference in light tone, but it doesn't have to be. These gels add a brighter pop of color to whatever light source you use. There can be a more noticeable difference if you stack a gel on top of each other to change the light more, but I haven't experimented with that. These gels work well if you want a specific shade and aren't absurdly expensive.
