Nice and warm but on the second day of wearing the thread started to come out. Unfortunately it's very noticeable, right on top of my head, just an unsightly loop that won't stay down. And another thread on the edge of the cap started doing the same thing the next day after that. I don't wear a heavy hat, only to/from work, and it sits comfortably over my coat when I'm not wearing it on my head, so I don't think the protruding threads are due to rough handling on my part. .

I don't know how to rate this hat but I'll try. It fits well as far as hats go. I think if I had done it my way the material would have been a bit more elastic. Nothing more important than a regular hat, just something to keep it a little snug on your head. Sometimes he just feels a little loose. The material is very comfortable, very soft. I can't believe I'm writing a review for a hat but this is exactly what I was looking for. Loose fit, no creases at the hem and that's what I like best. Lack of a single continuous vertical seam from top to bottom. A lot of hats have them and they're good, but they always make me feel the need to center that seam on the back of my head.
