I'm new to USB-C charging on my laptop but now that I've tried this I've sold a standard special purpose laptop. The NekTeck Cube is small but powerful, and I love the fact that it has two USB-A ports to charge other devices at the same time. One item less in your bag!

Stays cool while providing plenty of power to quickly charge my laptop. Includes velcro strap for cord storage and folded exit pins to keep in my bag. Much smaller than the charger that came with my laptop. A more standard USB-C charger compared to the original HP charger that came with the box.

I received a refund even though the product in question is a charger which fried my headphones. I usually get faulty goods but most of my devices end up in an e-waste box afterwards it was spoiled, the body of the nectek stayed like new although it smelled burnt. As I said, I was unlucky and most likely received a faulty part. I plan to order more

Very impressed with this charger from Nekteck. The finish of this product suggests that it will cost a lot more. While it works great. I mainly use it to charge my Chromebook which caused me to lose my original USBc charger. I prefer it to the original. I wasn't able to use the extra USB ports on the charger but I'm sure they will work just as well. If you need a charger, check out Neteck.

Update: They sent me a new unit for free, really amazing support. I'll check on the next flight. Now I fly from SFO to DFW. When I plug this charger into an outlet and plug in my iPhone, it charges just fine. However, when I turn off my iPhone and try to charge my 13 inch Macbook Pro, it charges in just 2 seconds before losing power. I'm assuming the airplane connector is overloaded with that high power charger or something. Big pain for me now, wish I had left a lower output charger instead…

For chargers, heavy weight is generally good, as it means reliable, well-built transformers that aren't always on the verge of overheating. I used it every day to charge a small subnotebook. I bought it for its advertised 95W output and the ability to occasionally charge my phone from one of the other USB ports while traveling. The original subnotebook charger was rated at 60W and the Nekteck appeared to be a cheaper and more powerful alternative to simply buying an original factory charger.
