Fits my daughter's thick legs well. Her feet are wide and thick. Where we run into problems with water boots is that their feet won't fit through the hole in the insole. They fit her well because there is enough space inside between the bottom and the top of the shoe. They appear to be sturdy and she seems to find them comfortable. The Velcro strap is long enough to tighten or loosen the upper to accommodate a wider foot. If they last through summer I will continue to buy them when she picks up

Don't be fooled by the 4.5 stars, this shoe is not waterproof for the following reasons: 1. It has a cardboard insole that leaves a wet paper mess when you use it in the water. My kid hated it and kept complaining about dirty wet feet.2. If water enters the shoes, it is not filtered, it is simply filled to the top (see my attached photos).
